PVC SCH 40 Reducing Tee - 3 x 3 x 1-1/2" (Slip x Slip x FPT)

Durable PVC SCH 40 reducing tee designed for pressure piping and irrigation systems. This combo reducer provides two full-size slip (socket) inlets and a smaller threaded outlet, giving a compact, reliable transition from 3" lines to a 1-1/2" branch.

• Nominal sizes: 3" x 3" x 1-1/2" — clear identification for plumbing and irrigation layouts.
• Material: Rigid PVC, Schedule 40 construction for strength, chemical resistance, and long service life.
• Connections: Slip x Slip sockets with a threaded female outlet (FPT/FNPT compatible) for solvent-weld and threaded installations.
• Standards & certification: Conforms to common PVC fitting industry standards and is suitable for potable water when supplied by an NSF-certified manufacturer.
• Typical dimensions: Overall length ~6-3/16" and approximate weight ~1.05 lb for the 3 x 3 x 1-1/2" nominal size.

This reducing tee is ideal for irrigation mainline tie-ins, sprinkler manifold assemblies, and general PVC plumbing where a reduced branch is required. Use appropriate PVC primer and solvent cement on slip sockets and a compatible thread sealant on the threaded outlet to ensure leak-free connections. Verify manufacturer specifications and certification for potable water installations and confirm compatibility with local codes and system pressure/temperature limits before installation.
